Searching for 0+ states in 50Cr: Implications for the superallowed β decay of 50Mn
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 52Cr(p, t), E=24 MeV; measured E(t), I(t), σ(θ) using Q3D magnetic spectrograph at MLL-Munich. 50Cr; deduced levels, J, π, L-transfers, 0+ states. Coupled-channel, finite-range DWBA analysis using software FRESCO code. Comparison with ab initio shell-model predictions using in-medium similarity renormalization group (IM-SRG) formalism based on NN and 3N forces from chiral-energy density functionals (EFT).Comparison with previous experimental results and evaluated data in the ENSDF database.
RADIOACTIVITY 50Mn(EC); discussed possible Fermi non-analog β transitions to 0+ states at 3895 and 4069 keV assigned in authors' (p, t) work.
