High-resolution study of Gamow-Teller transitions in the ⁴⁸Ti(³He, t)⁴⁸V reaction

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁴⁸Ti(³He, t), E=140 MeV/nucleon; measured E(t), I(t), σ(θ) using Grand Raiden spectrometer at RCNP-Osaka cyclotron facility. ⁴⁸V; deduced levels, L-transfers, T_z=+2 to +1 Gamow-Teller transitions, Gamow-Teller B(GT) strengths. DWBA analysis. Comparisons with shell-model calculations using GXPF1J interaction, and with B(GT) results from ⁴⁷Ti(³He, t)⁴⁷V reaction. Predictions for β spectrum of mirror decay ⁴⁸Fe to ⁴⁸Mn.
