In-beam γ-ray spectroscopy of ^43-46Cl

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁹Be(⁴⁸K, X)³⁹P/⁴¹S/⁴²S/⁴³Cl/⁴⁴Cl/⁴⁵Cl/⁴⁶Cl/⁴⁶Ar/⁴⁷Ar, [⁴⁸K secondary beam from ⁹Be(⁴⁸Ca, X), E=140 MeV/nucleon primary reaction], E=85 MeV/nucleon; measured time of flight, energy loss, yields, Eγ, Iγ, γγ-, (particle)γ-coin, level half-life by line shape analysis using SeGA array at NSCL facility. ^43,44,45,46Cl; deduced levels, J, π, M1 strength, B(E2). Comparison with shell-model calculations using SDPF-U and EPQQM effective interactions in the sdpf model space. ^37,45Cl, ^39,47K; calculated M1 matrix elements for four L-forbidden transitions, and compared with experimental values.
