Ground state magnetic dipole moment of ⁴⁰Sc

NUCLEAR MOMENTS ^40,41Sc; measured hyperfine structure spectra; deduced hyperfine coupling constants, magnetic dipole moments, electric quadrupole moments. Comparison to shell-model and multishell in-medium similarity renormalization group (IMSRG) calculations. Collinear laser spectroscopy technique at NSCL-BECOLA facility. Scandium beam produced in ⁹Be(⁴⁰Ca, X), E=140 MeV/nucleon reaction, and transported using A1900 fragment separator at NSCL-MSU. Systematics of experimental and theoretical magnetic moments of ground states of ^40,41Sc, ^39,41Ca, ^39,40K.
