RADIOACTIVITY 10C, 14O, 18Ne, 22Mg, 26Si, 30S, 34Ar, 38Ca, 42Ti, 26mAl, 34Cl, 38mK, 42Sc, 46V, 50Mn, 54Co, 62Ga, 66As, 70Br, 74Rb(β+), (EC); compiled and evaluated Q(ϵ), T1/2, branching ratios, γ-intensity ratios for superallowed (0+ to 0+) β transitions in Tz=-1 and 0 parent nuclei; deduced partial half-lives, ft, Ft, Vud, and δ'R, δNS, δC1, δC2, δC isospin symmetry breaking terms. Comparison with theoretical δC values from SM-WS (shell-model, Woods-Saxon), SM-HF (shell-model, Hartree-Fock), RPA (random phase approximation), IVMR (isovector monopole resonance), and DFT (density functional theory). Discussed CKM unitarity test, and Vus, Vab and Vu terms.

RADIOACTIVITY 38Ca(β+), (EC)[from 1H(39K, 2n), E=30 MeV/nucleon]; measured fully-stripped reaction ejectiles using Momentum Achromat Recoil Spectrometer (MARS) at Texas A and M cyclotron facility, Eβ, Iβ, Eγ, Iγ, β+γ-coin. 38K; deduced levels, J, π, β+ branching ratios, logft values, branching ratio and Ft value for superallowed β transition, the up-down quark-mixing element of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) matrix Vud. Comparison with shell-model calculations.
