High spin spectroscopy in ³⁴Cl

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²⁷Al(¹²C, nα), E=40 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ)(DCO), γγ(linear polarization), level half-lives by DSAM using INGA array at TIFR accelerator facility. ³⁴Cl; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, multipolarity, mixing ratio, B(E2). Comparison with large-basis shell-model calculations.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE ³⁴Cl; calculated levels, J, π, wave functions, γ-branching ratios, B(M1), B(E2), B(M2) using large-basis shell-model (LBSM) calculations for different truncation schemes. OXBASH computer code. Comparison with experimental data.
