Level structure of ³¹S via ³²S(p, d)³¹S

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ³²S(p, d)³¹S, E=34.5 MeV; measured E(d), I(d) and differential σ(θ) using Enge split-pole magnetic spectrograph at Wright Nuclear Structure Laboratory (WNSL) of Yale University. ³¹S; deduced levels, J, π. Comparison with results from other reactions, decay, and evaluated data in ENSDF. DWBA analysis of σ(θ) data. Relevance to reaction rates for ³⁰P(p, γ)³¹S at the temperature range of 0.1 to 1.5 GK, with impact on explosive hydrogen burning in classical novae and type-I x-ray bursts.
