Intermediate energy proton knockout to the "island of inversion" isotope ³¹Mg

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁹Be(³²Al, X), E=91 MeV/nucleon; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γ(θ), σ, parallel momentum distributions. ³¹Mg; deduced levels, J, π. Comparison with USD and AMD+GCM shell-model calculations and discussed relevance to "island of inversion".
