First observation of an isomeric state in proton drip-line nucleus 26P
NUCLEAR REACTIONS H, C(28Si, 26P), (28Si, 26Ne), E not given. 26P measured in- peak at 164 keV, T1/2, isomeric ratio, transition strength, B(E2). 26Na deduced 82 keV peak, T1/2, B(E2). B(E2) compared with Dufor paper and with shell model calculations.
