Effective proton-neutron interaction near the drip line from unbound states in 25, 26F

NUCLEAR REACTIONS C(26Ne, 25F), E=456 MeV/nucleon; C(27Ne, 26F), E=432 MeV/nucleon, [secondary 26,27Ne beams from 9Be(40Ar, X), E=490 MeV/nucleon followed by separation of fragments using fragment separator (FRS) at GSI accelerator facility and identification of fragments by energy loss and time-of-flight]; measured particle spectra, Eγ, E(n), Iγ, nγ-coin using the R3B/LAND setup with 4π Crystal Ball of 159 NaI crystals and large area neutron detector (LAND). 25,26F; deduced levels, resonances, J, π, width. Comparison with shell-model calculations using the phenomenological USDA and WBP interactions and with ab initio valence-space Hamiltonians derived from in-medium similarity renormalization group (IM-SRG).
