Three-body correlations in the ground-state decay of 26O

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 9Be(27F, 26O), E=82 MeV/nucleon, [27F secondary beam produced from projectile fragmentation of a 140 MeV/nucleon 48Ca primary beam]; measured (24O)nn-triple coin, three-body decay energy and angular correlations using MoNA-Sweeper setup at NSCL-MSU; deduced invariant mass and three-body correlations from the 26O ground-state resonance decay. Comparison with Monte-Carlo simulations using a phase-space, model, dineutron model, and three-body decay model. 26O; deduced 1σ upper limit of the ground-state resonance energy of 26O.
