β-delayed fission of 230Am

RADIOACTIVITY 230Am(β+F)[from 207Pb(27Al, 4n), E=145 MeV]; measured fission fragments, double-fold fission fragment coincidences, total energy spectrum, α-α correlations using the GARIS recoil-ion separator at RIKEN. Analyzed TKE(230Pu); deduced T1/2 for 230Am, lower limit of β-delayed fission probability of 230Am. Systematics of β+-delayed fission probabilities for 230,232,234Am, 240,242,244,246,248Es, 236,238,240Bk nuclei. 230Am found to have the highest lower limit for β+-delayed fission probability so far among all the known nuclei decaying by this mode.
