0+ states and collective bands in 228Th studied by the (p, t) reaction
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 230Th(p, t), E=25 MeV; measured triton spectra, σ(θ) using Q3D magnetic spectrograph at Munich tandem accelerator facility. 228Th; deduced levels, J, π, collective bands, moments of inertia, B(E1)/B(E2), nature of 0+ states. DWBA fit procedure. Coupled-channel analysis of σ(θ) data using CHUCK3 computer code. Comparison with previous experimental data, and with interacting boson model and quasiparticle-phonon model calculations.
