RADIOACTIVITY 218At(α)[from U(p, F), E=1.4 GeV, followed by selective ionization of 218At using RILIS at CERN-ISOLDE facility]; measured Eα, Iα, Eγ, Iγ, αγ-coin, half-life of 218At decay using silicon detectors for α detection and low-energy Ge detector for γ detection. 214Bi; deduced levels, J, π, α feedings, α hindrance factors. 218At; deduced J, π. Systematics of low-lying level energies in 210,212,214Bi, 212,214,216At, and α hindrance factors in the decays of 214,216,218At, 216Fr. Comparison with theoretical predictions, and with previous experimental results.
