Determination of the half-life of 213Fr with high precision

RADIOACTIVITY 213Fr(α)[from 208Pb(11B, 6n), E=72 MeV]; measured Eα, half-life using the life-time experiment (LITE) facility at INFN-LNS. 211At, 211Po(α); observed α lines. Discussed electron screening effects on decay probability. Comparison with previous measurements.
