β-decay spectroscopy of the proton drip-line nucleus 22Al

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 9Be(28Si, X)19Ne/20Na/21Mg/22Al/23Si, E=75.6 MeV/nucleon; measured reaction products and identified by TOF versus ΔE plot at the RIBLL1-HIRFL-Lanzhou facility.

RADIOACTIVITY 22Al(β+), (β+p), (β+2p), (β+α)[from 9Be(28Si, X), E=75.6 MeV/nucleon]; measured Eγ, Iγ, Eβ, E(p), I(p), Eα, Iα, βγ-coin, pγ-coin, αγ-coin, γγ-coin, half-life of decay of 22Al using DSSD array for β and charged particles, and EXOGAM array for γ detection; deduced β-delayed proton and α energies and branching ratios. 22Mg, 21Na, 20Ne, 18Ne; deduced levels, J, π, isospin T=2 isobaric analog state (IAS) in 22Mg and decay branching ratios by one-proton, two-protons, and α particles, I(β+) feedings, logft values; calculated levels, J, π, branching ratios using shell model with USDC and USDB effective interactions. Comparison between experimental results and theoretical model calculations, and with previous experimental results for delayed proton branches.
