NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁶⁹Tm(⁴⁰Ar, 4n), E=180 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, ce, delayed γ, γγ-, αγ-, γ(particle)-, ceγ-coin, γ(t), γ(θ), half-lives of isomers, recoil decay tagging method using JUROGAM array and GREAT spectrometer at JYFL. ²⁰⁵Fr; deduced levels, J, π, bands, isomers, configurations. Systematics of negative-parity states in odd-mass (N=118-126) francium nuclei and yrast and near-yrast positive-parity states in their even-mass (N=112-126) radon isotones.

Recoil-decay tagging (RDT) technique. ¹⁶⁹Tm, ^203,204Rn, ²⁰⁴Fr; observed prompt γ rays. Systematics of low-lying negative-parity states in ^{203,205,207,209,211}Fr together with yrast positive-parity states in ^{198,200,202,204,206,208,210,212}Rn.
