RADIOACTIVITY 20F(β-)[from 19F(d, p), E=6 MeV at the IGISOL facility in Jyvaskyla]; measured Eβ, Iβ, branching ratio of the 2+ to 0+ β transition to the ground state of 20Ne; deduced logft value for the second-forbidden, nonunique β transition. Comparison with shell-model calculations. Discussed implications for the final evolution of stars which develop degenerate oxygen-neon cores.
