β- and γ-decay spectroscopy of 197, 198Os
RADIOACTIVITY 196,197,198Os, 198Ir(β-)[from 198Pt(136Xe, X), E=10.75 MeV/nucleon using KEK Isotope Separation System (KISS) at RIKEN, an argon-gas-cell-based laser ion source combined with an on-line isotope separator]; measured β- radiation using multisegmented proportional gas counter (MSPGC), Eγ, Iγ, γγ- and βγ-coin with particle selection condition of Os and Ir, half-lives of decays of 196,197,198Os and 198Ir. 197,198Ir, 198Pt; deduced levels, Iβ feedings, logft, configurations of parent and daughter states. 197mTl(IT); measured Eγ, Iγ, T1/2; deduced conversion coefficients and compared with previous results. Comparison with previous experimental data. A=195-206, Z=76; comparison of measured β-decay half-lives with theoretical results from DF3, FRDM, and KUTY models.
