NUCLEAR REACTIONS 1H(20C, 19C), E=50 MeV/nucleon, [secondary 20C beam from 181Ta(40Ar, X), E=63 MeV/nucleon primary reaction, and using RIPS separator at RIKEN]; measured reaction products using particle detectors, Eγ, Iγ, using DALI2 array at RIKEN. Geant-4 simulations. One-neutron knock-out reaction. 19C; deduced level, J, π, configuration. Comparison with shell-model predictions.
