New experimental data on excitation functions of ³He-induced nuclear reactions on Ta up to 27 MeV

NUCLEAR REACTIONS Ta(³He, 2n)¹⁸²Re/^182mRe, (³He, 3n)¹⁸¹Re, (³He, 2nα)¹⁷⁸Ta, (³He, α)¹⁸⁰Ta, E=27 MeV from MGC-20E cyclotron of ATOMKI, Debrecen; measured reaction products, Eγ, Iγ of radioactive products, production σ using stacked-foil activation technique with natural Ta target and off-line γ counting. Comparison with theoretical calculations using TALYS-1.9 and EMPIRE-3.2.3 codes.

RADIOACTIVITY ¹⁸¹Re(EC), (β⁺)[from Ta(³He, 3n), E=27 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, half-life of ¹⁸¹Re decay; deduced %Iγ of 360-keV γ-ray about a factor of two lower as compared to that in the ENSDF database for ¹⁸¹Re decay.
