Astrophysical reaction rate for ¹⁷F(p, γ)¹⁸Ne from the transfer reaction ¹³C(¹⁷O, ¹⁸O)¹²C

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹³C(¹⁷O, ¹⁸O), ¹²C(¹⁸O, ¹⁸O), E=12 MeV/nucleon; measured particle spectra using multipole dipole-multipole (MDM) magnetic spectrometer, σ(θ) at Texas A and M facility. ¹⁸O; deduced levels, J, asymptotic normalization coefficients (ANCs) of ground state, first two 2+ states and first 4+ state. ¹⁷F(p, γ)¹⁸Ne, at T₉=0.1-1; deduced reaction rates, astrophysical S factor from mirror analogy of states in ¹⁸O and ¹⁸Ne. Optical model parameters and DWBA analysis. Discussed production of ¹⁸F at stellar energies in ONe novae.
