NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁵⁹Tb(²⁴Mg, 5n), E=131, 133, 136, 141 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin. ¹⁷⁸Ir deduced high-spin levels, J, π, configurations, B(M1)/B(E2), signature inversion, deformation driving effects. GASP array, particle-rotor model calculations.
