Lifetime measurements probing triple shape coexistence in 175Au

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 92Mo(86Sr, 2np), E=401 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, αγ-, (evaporation residues)αγ-coin, half-lives by recoil-distance Doppler-shift (RDDS) and differential decay curve methods using Cologne plunger device and JUROGAM array. Recoil-decay tagging method using Gamma Recoil Electron Alpha Tagging (GREAT) spectrometer. 175Au; deduced level, J, π, B(E2), B(E1), transition quadrupole moment. Systematics of transition quadrupole moments in 175Au, 178Pt, 180,182Hg, 186Pb, 187Tl. Spherical, prolate, and mixed oblate-prolate configurations.

RADIOACTIVITY 175mAu(α); measured Eα, half-life of 11/2- isomer by correlations between recoil implantations and α decays.
