Multiquasiparticle states in the neutron-rich nucleus 174Tm
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 175,176Lu, 174,176Yb(136Xe, X), E=820 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ), isomer half-lives by γ(t) and γγ(t) using Gammasphere array at ATLAS-ANL facility. 174Tm; deduced levels, J, K, π, rotational bands, configurations, multipolarity, B(E1), B(M1), B(E2), B(M2), B(E3), hindrance factors for γ transitions, rotational alignments, magnitudes of gK-gR and mixing ratio, two- and four-quasiparticle states, residual n-n interaction. Comparison with multiquasiparticle calculations.
NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 174Tm; calculated levels, J, K, π, configurations. Multiquasiparticle pairing calculations use the Lipkin-Nogami formalism; comparison with experimental data.
