NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁵⁷Gd(¹⁹F, 5n), E=105 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, DSA. ¹⁷¹Ta deduced high-spin levels, J, π, configurations, T_1/2, B(E2), quadrupole deformation, transition quadrupole moments. Total routhian surface calculations.
