Quasifree (p, 2p) and (p, pn) reactions with unstable nuclei
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 1H(12C, 2p), (12C, np), (12C, p), E=0.3-4 GeV/nucleon; calculated total and elastic σ(E), proton and neutron knockout probabilities, longitudinal, transverse, and total momentum distributions. 1H(23O, np), (68Ni, n), (68Ni, np), (11Be, 10Be), (11Be, np), (8Be, 2p), 12C(68Ni, n), (11Be, 10Be), (8B, 7Be), E=500 MeV/nucleon; calculated σ for neutron removal as function of S(n), distance to the c.m. of 68Ni, and mass number, neutron skin of even-even Ni isotopes, longitudinal and transverse momentum distributions for 11Be and 68Ni. 1H(20O, np), (20O, 2p), E=500 MeV/nucleon; calculated full width at half-maximum (FWHM) of transverse momentum distributions as function of S(p) and S(n). Comparison with experimental data. Eikonal theory to describe total cross sections and momentum distributions of the recoiled residual nucleus in quasifree reactions.
