High-Spin States in Odd-Odd ¹⁷⁰Ta

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁵⁹Tb(¹⁶O, 5n), E=105 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-, (X-ray)γ-coin. ¹⁷⁰Ta deduced high-spin levels, J, π, configurations. Systematics of level staggering in neighboring nuclides discussed.
