Collective γ-Vibrational Bands in ¹⁶⁵Ho and ¹⁶⁷Er

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁶⁵Ho, ¹⁶⁷Er(²⁰⁹Bi, ²⁰⁹Bi'), E=5.4 MeV/nucleon; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin following Coulomb excitation. ¹⁶⁵Ho, ¹⁶⁷Er deduced high-spin levels, J, π, K, γ-vibrational bands, signature splitting energies, intrinsic moment ratios, identical bands. Compton-suppressed hyperpure Ge detector array, 4π BGO ball. Cranked shell model plus RPA plus particle-vibration coupling calculations.
