Identification of triaxial strongly deformed bands in 164Hf
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 94Zr(74Ge, 4n), E=330 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, four-fold γ coin using Gammasphere array at ATLAS-ANL facility. 164Hf; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, normal-deformed and triaxial strongly-deformed (TSD) bands, configurations, alignments; calculated total energy surface contours. Cranked shell-model calculations using Ultimate Cranker computer code.
