NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁰⁶Cd(⁵⁸Ni, 2np), E=270 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-, (recoil)γ-coin. ¹⁶¹Re deduced high-spin levels, J, π, configurations. Jurogam array, mass separator, recoil-decay tagging, total Routhian surface calculations.
