Chirality of 135Nd reexamined: Evidence for multiple chiral doublet bands
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 100Mo(40Ar, 5n), E=152 MeV from the K130 cyclotron at the University of Jyvaskyla; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ)(DCO), angular distribution ratios using the JUROGAM-II array, with 39 Compton-suppressed Ge detectors. 135Nd; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, multipolarities, rotational and two sets of chiral-doublet bands, alignments, B(M1)/B(E2) ratios, configurations. Comparison with constrained density functional theory (CDFT) and particle-rotor model (PRM) calculations.

Tilted precession bands in 135Nd
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 100Mo(40Ar, 5n)135Nd, E=152 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ)(DCO), γγ(two-angle, anisotropy ratio), γ(θ), γγ(linear polarization) using JUROGAM II spectrometer with 39 Compton-suppressed Ge detectors at the K130 Cyclotron facility of the University of Jyvaskyla. 135Nd; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, rotational bands, multipolarities, mixing ratios, B(M1)out/B(E2)in and B(E2)out/B(E2)in ratios, configurations. Comparison with quasiparticle-plus-triaxial-rotor model calculations. Observed bands described as tilted precession (TiP) bands instead of wobbling bands. Discussed nuclear triaxiality, and similarities and differences between tilted precession bands (TiP) and wobbling bands.
