NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁹⁶Ru(⁴⁰Ca, n2p), E ≈ 180 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-, (charged particle)γ-coin. ¹³³Sm deduced high-spin levels, J, π, B(M1)/B(E2), configurations, deformation. Cranked mean field calculations, total Routhian surfaces.
