High-spin states in 133Cs and the shell model description

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 130Te(7Li, 4n), E=45 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ)(DCO), γγ(linear polarization) using INGA array of 15 Compton-suppressed HPGe clover detectors at TIFR-Mumbai accelerator facility. 133Cs; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, multipolarities, bands, configurations. Comparison with large-scale shell model calculation using jj55pna interaction. Systematics of band structures in 127,129,131,133,135,137Cs.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 130Te(7Li, 4n), E=38 MeV; measured in-beam Eγ, Iγ(θ), γγ-coin using 12 Compton-suppressed Ge detectors at HI-13 Tandem at CIAE (China Institute of Atomic Energy). 133Cs; deduced level scheme, levels, J, π up to high spin of 31/2, rotational bands, γ transition intensities; updated systematics of 2+ states in N=78 even-even isotopes of A=130-134. 133Cs, 132Xe; calculated levels, J, π, B(M1)/B(E2), moments of inertia using large-scale shell model; compared to experimental data.
