Observation of signature partner bands in ¹¹⁷Sb

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹¹⁵In(α, 2n)¹¹⁷Sb, E=28 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γ(θ), γγ(θ)(DCO), γγ(linear polarization) using the VENUS detector system at K-130 cyclotron of VECC-Kolkata. ¹¹⁷Sb; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, multipolarities, bands, configurations, alignments, staggering parameters, wave functions. Comparison with particle rotor model (PRM), and with large-scale shell-model calculations using OXBASH code.
