Competing single-particle and collective states in the low-energy structure of ¹¹³I

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁵⁸Ni(⁵⁸Ni, 3p)¹¹³I, E=210 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, level half-lives by RDDS method using a plunger device, Jurogam-II array, and RITU separator at JYFL facility. ¹¹³I; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, bands, B(E2). Comparison with shell-model calculations, and configuration-constrained total Routhian surface calculations.
