Chiral-like doublet band structure and octupole correlations in 104Ag
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 76Ge(32S, 3np)104Ag, E=110 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ)(DCO), level T1/2 by DSAM using INGA array of 18 Compton suppressed clover detectors at the 14-UD BARC-TIFR Pelletron Facility. 104Ag; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, multipolarities, bands, B(M1), B(E2), B(E1), B(M1)/B(E1), B(M1)/B(E2), spherical configurations, moment of inertia plots, alignments; calculated potential energy surface in the (β-γ) deformation plane, octupole correlations, enhanced E1 transitions, chiral-like doublet band. Comparison with theoretical calculations using triaxial projected shell model (TPSM) and covariant density functional theory (CDFT).
