Various nuclear structures in ¹⁴⁰Xe studied by β decay of ground and isomeric states in ¹⁴⁰I

RADIOACTIVITY ^140,140mI, ¹⁴⁰Te(β^-)[from ⁹Be(²³⁸U, X), E=345 MeV/nucleon];measured Eβ, Iβ, Eγ, Iγ, βγ-coin, γγ-coin; deduced β-branching ratios, β-intensities. ¹⁴⁰Te; deduced T_1/2. ¹⁴⁰I; deduced levels, J, π, T_1/2 of ground and two newly found β-decaying isomeric states. ¹⁴⁰Xe; deduced levels, J, π, band structures. Systematics of excitation energies of octupole collective states and positive-parity states in N = 86 isotones. Comparison to large-scale shell model and deformed Skyrme-HFB+QRPA (SkM*) calculations. Wide-range Active Silicon Strip Stopper Array for β and ion detection (WAS3ABi) system combined with EUROBALL-RIKEN Cluster Array (EURICA) at RIBF.
