α decay of the longest-lived Cm isotope: 24796Cm

RADIOACTIVITY 247Cm(α); analyzed Eα published in 1971FI01 using new information on calibration standards; measured Eα, Iα, Eγ, Iγ, αγ-coin; deduced γ transition energies and intensities per α-decay. 243Pa; deduced levels, J, π. Source from ORNL with approx. 1.6 Bq activity obtained in late 1960, produced by irradiation of 144Cm in high-flux reactor. Decay measured with Ge detector and planar silicon (PIPS) detector.
