One-proton transfer reaction for the 18O + 48Ti system at 275 MeV
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 48Ti, 16O, 27Al(18O, 19F)47Sc/15N/26Mg, E=275 MeV; measured reaction products, 19F ejectiles, excitation energy spectrum, differential σ(θ) for ground and excited states of 19F, 47Sc, 15N and 26Mg using MAGNEX large acceptance magnetic spectrometer and a focal plane detector at the K800 Superconducting Cyclotron of INFN-LNS laboratory, Catania as part of the NUMEN Collaboration research program of transfer reactions; data analyzed using the distorted wave Born approximation (DWBA), and coupled-channel Born approximation (CCBA) frameworks using the FRESCO code, with the initial and final-state interactions described by the Sao Paulo potential, and the one-proton spectroscopic amplitudes for the projectile and target overlaps derived from shell-model calculations. Relevance to nuclear matrix elements (NMEs) of 0νββ decay through the study of heavy-ion induced double charge exchange (DCE) reactions on various targets as candidates for double-β decay.
