Spectroscopy of A=9 hyperlithium with the (e, e'K+) reaction
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 9Be(e, e'K+)9Li, E=2.344 GeV; measured scattered electron and K+ using the HES and HKS magnetic spectrometers, respectively at the Jefferson Laboratory. 9Li; deduced missing mass spectrum, differential cross sections, binding energy of Λ hypernucleus, levels, J, π, excitation energies of the first and second excited states of A=9 hyperlithium, ratio of cross sections of the first excited state to the ground state of the hypernucleus. Interpretation of g.s. and the two excited states in 9Li hypernucleus as sΛ states coupled with Jπ=2+, 1+ and 3+ states of 8Li nucleus. Comparison with theoretical calculations, and with results of previous experiments at JLab.
