Isomeric 13 over 2+ (νi-1 13 over 2) state in 211Th

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 181Ta(36Ar, 5np)211Th, E=178-214 MeV; measured reaction products, recoil-α correlated events, x rays, conversion electrons, half-life of a micro-second isomer using RITU separator and a multiwire proportional counter (MWPC), and ions implanted into a double-sided silicon strip detector (DSSD) of the GREAT spectrometer at the K-130 cyclotron of University of Jyvaskyla. 211Th; deduced levels, J, π, isomer and its decay mode.

RADIOACTIVITY 211mTh(IT), (α)[from 181Ta(36Ar, 5np)211Th, E=178-214 MeV]; measured recoils-α correlated events, Eα, Iα, x rays, ce, half-life of isomer; deduced levels, J, π, configuration, α-decay branching ratio of isomer decay.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 181Ta(36Ar, X)205Fr/206Fr/207Fr/208Fr/209Fr/207Ra/208Ra/209Ra/210Ra/206Ac/206mAc/207Ac/208Ac/209Ac/210Ac/211Ac/212Ac/213Ac/211Th/211mTh/212Th/213Th/211Pa/212Pa/213Pa, E=178-214 MeV; measured reaction products, Eα and decay time, as a function of the α-particle energy of the first decay event of a decay chain consisting of two to four decay events correlated with a recoil implantation event.
