Isomeric 13 over 2⁺ (νi^-1 _{13 over 2}) state in ²¹¹Th

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁸¹Ta(³⁶Ar, 5np)²¹¹Th, E=178-214 MeV; measured reaction products, recoil-α correlated events, x rays, conversion electrons, half-life of a micro-second isomer using RITU separator and a multiwire proportional counter (MWPC), and ions implanted into a double-sided silicon strip detector (DSSD) of the GREAT spectrometer at the K-130 cyclotron of University of Jyvaskyla. ²¹¹Th; deduced levels, J, π, isomer and its decay mode.

RADIOACTIVITY ^211mTh(IT), (α)[from ¹⁸¹Ta(³⁶Ar, 5np)²¹¹Th, E=178-214 MeV]; measured recoils-α correlated events, Eα, Iα, x rays, ce, half-life of isomer; deduced levels, J, π, configuration, α-decay branching ratio of isomer decay.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁸¹Ta(³⁶Ar, X)²⁰⁵Fr/²⁰⁶Fr/²⁰⁷Fr/²⁰⁸Fr/²⁰⁹Fr/²⁰⁷Ra/²⁰⁸Ra/²⁰⁹Ra/²¹⁰Ra/²⁰⁶Ac/^206mAc/²⁰⁷Ac/²⁰⁸Ac/²⁰⁹Ac/²¹⁰Ac/²¹¹Ac/²¹²Ac/²¹³Ac/²¹¹Th/^211mTh/²¹²Th/²¹³Th/²¹¹Pa/²¹²Pa/²¹³Pa, E=178-214 MeV; measured reaction products, Eα and decay time, as a function of the α-particle energy of the first decay event of a decay chain consisting of two to four decay events correlated with a recoil implantation event.
