Spectroscopy of 99Cd and 101In from β decays of 99In and 101Sn
RADIOACTIVITY 99In(EC), (β+), 101Sn(EC), (β+), (β+p)[from 9Be(124Xe, X), E=345 MeV/nucleon, followed by separation of fragments of interest using BigRIPS separator and the ZeroDegree spectrometer at RIBF-RIKEN facility]; measured β-correlated γ spectra, Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin using the WAS3ABi detector and the EURICA array; generated hypothetical βγ-coin and βγγ-coin matrices. 99Cd, 101In; deduced levels, J, π. 101Sn(β+p); analyzed intensity distributions of β-delayed proton emission branches as a function of the excitation energy; calculated partial half-lives of electromagnetic decay and proton emission. Comparison of level structure with phenomenological shell model using SR88MHJM interaction, and β+p decay with semi-empirical proton emission theory by Delion, Liotta, and Wyss 2006.
