Positive-Parity Linear-Chain Molecular Band in ¹⁶C

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²H(¹⁶C, X)²H, E=23.5 MeV/nucleon; measured reaction products, Eα, Iα. ¹⁶C; deduced excitation energies, spin parities, total decay widths of the resonances in ¹⁶C. Comparison with AMD calculations.
