Experimental study of ³⁵Cl excited states via ³²S(α, p)

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ³²S(α, p), (α, α), E=21 MeV; measured Ep, Ip, Eα, Iα, and differential σ(θ) using Enge split-pole magnetic spectrograph at the 10-MV FN tandem Van de Graaff accelerator facility at TUNL. ³⁵Cl; deduced levels, J, π. ³⁴S(p, γ), at T=0.010-10.0 GK; deduced astrophysical reaction rate. DWBA analysis of σ(θ) data using FRESCO code. Comparison with previous experimental results, and evaluated data in the ENSDF database. ²⁸Si(α, p)³¹P, E=21 MeV; measured Ep, Ip; deduced levels; used for spectral calibration.
