Evidence for α-cluster structure in ²¹Ne in the first measurement of resonant ¹⁷O + α elastic scattering

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁴He(¹⁷O, α), E=32 MeV; measured Eα, Iα, ¹⁷O, σ(E(α), θ), excitation functions using the thick target inverse kinematics method at the DC-60 cyclotron, Astana, Kazakhstan. ²¹Ne; deduced resonances, levels, L-transfer, J, π, α-cluster states, Γ, Γ_α, reduced α width. R-matrix analysis of the excitation function data. Comparison with α-cluster resonances in ²⁰Ne populated in ⁴He(¹⁶O, α).
