Spectroscopy and lifetime measurements near the proton drip line: ^{26, 27, 28}P

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁹Be(²⁶Si, ²⁶P), (²⁷P, ²⁶P), (²⁸S, ²⁶P), (²⁶Si, ²⁷P), (³⁰S, ²⁷P), (³⁴Ar, ²⁷P), (²⁹P, ²⁸P), (³⁴Ar, ²⁸P), (³³Cl, ²⁸P), (³⁰S, ²⁸P), (²⁸Si, ²⁷Si), E=118 MeV/nucleon, [secondary beams from ⁹Be(³⁶Ar, X), E=150 MeV/nucleon primary beam, followed by fragment separation by A1900 fragment separator at NSCL-MSU facility]; measured reaction products, particle identification plot, Eγ, Iγ using CEASAR and SeGA arrays for γ detection and the S800 spectrograph focal plane detectors for charged particle identification. ^26,27,28P, ²⁷Si; deduced levels, J, π, level half-lives; calculated Thomas-Ehrman shifts applied to energies in mirror nuclei. Comparison with shell-model calculations.
