High spin structure of 39Ar and the FSU cross-shell interaction

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 27Al(14C, np), E=25.6 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, Ep, Ip, γγ- and pγ-coin, γγ(θ)(DCO) using Compton suppressed FSU γ detector array and silicon ΔE-E telescope for proton detection at Florida State University FN tandem accelerator facility. 39Ar; deduced levels, J, π. Comparison with shell model calculations using the FSU cross-shell interaction, and with previous experimental results. 38Ar(d, p)39Ar; calculated spectroscopic factors using the shell model with the FSU cross-shell interaction, and compared with available experimental results.
