Precision half-life measurement of 11C: The most precise mirror transition Ft value
RADIOACTIVITY 11C(β+), (EC)[from 2H(10B, n), E=32.5 MeV at the Nuclear Science Laboratory of University of Notre Dame, followed by mass separation of 11C ions by TwinSol mass separator and implanted in a thick tantalum foil in NSL β-counting station]; measured Eβ, Iβ, half-life of 11C decay; deduced Ftmirror, Gamow-Teller-to-Fermi mixing ratio ρ, β asymmetry parameter Ab, β-neutrino angular correlation parameter aβν, neutrino asymmetry parameter Bn. Comparison with literature values.
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 2H(10B, n)4He/9Be/10B/11C, E=32.5 MeV; measured yields for ions using TwinSol mass separator at University of Notre Dame.
