Branching ratio to the 803 keV level in ²¹⁰Po α decay

RADIOACTIVITY ²¹⁰Po(α)[from ²¹⁰Bi(β^-) decay, ²¹⁰Bi from ²⁰⁹Bi(n, γ), E=thermal at Soreq nuclear reactor facility]; measured Eγ, Iγ, Eα, Iα, α-branching ratio to the 803-keV level in ²⁰⁶Pb. Comparison with previous experimental results from 1951 to 1999, and evaluated data in ENSDF and DDEP databases. Relevance to cross section for ²⁰⁹Bi(n, γ)²¹⁰Bi involved in termination of the astrophysical s process.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²⁰⁹Bi(n, γ), E=thermal; measured Eα, Iα from decay of ²¹⁰Po; deduced σ for thermal capture σ.
